Study on the Trace Elements in Zone-Refined Aluminum
Impurities in the zone-refined aluminum have been determined qualitatively and quantitatively mainly by using nondestructive activation analysis. Remarkable results are summarized as follows: (1) The remaining impurities in the ZR-Al are Li, B, Na, Mg, Si, Ca, Sc, Mn, Fe, Cu, Zn, Sb, La, Ce, Sm, Dy, and Au. (2) The principal impurities contributed to the residual resistivity are Si and Sc. (3) ...
متن کاملDeveloping of Corrosion Resistance Nano Copper Oxide Coating on Copper using Anodization in Oxalate solution
Copper alloys are widely used in the manufacturing of heat transfer applications, this due to their excellent heat transfer properties. Copper contamination is one of the serious industrial problems in the boiler feed water system. This contamination commonly resulted from copper corrosion reactions in boiler feed water environment. The best way to reduce the copper contamination is by improvin...
متن کاملInvestigation of mineralization and fluid inclusions of the Lapeh-Zanak copper deposit, Central Alborz zone, Iran
The Lapeh-Zanak copper deposit is located about 15 km east of Tehran, in the southern part of the Central Alborz Zone. The rock units exposed in this area include a sequence of volcanic and pyroclastic rocks (basalt, andesite, trachy-andesite and dacitic and vitric tuff) belonging to the Fajan Formation with the Paleocene-Lower Eocene age, which are cut by subvolcanic igneous masses with a comp...
متن کاملMicrowave Residual Surface Resistance of Superconductors”
Two distinct models account for the microwave residual surface resistance of superconducting cavities with equally good agreement with the measured temperature and frequency dependence. In presenting his phonon generation model, Passow claimed that Rabinowitz’s fluxoid power loss model of residual resistance does not fit the experimental data, whereas his does. In fact, the two models have esse...
متن کاملEffects of Copper Addition on Copper Resistance, Antibiotic Resistance Genes, and intl1 during Swine Manure Composting
Copper is one of the most abundant heavy metals present in swine manure. In this study, a laboratory-scale aerobic composting system was amended with Cu at three levels (0, 200, and 2000 mg kg-1, i.e., control, Cu200, and Cu2000 treatments, respectively) to determine its effect on the fate of copper resistance genes [copper resistance genes (CRGs): pcoA, cusA, copA, and tcrB], antibiotic resist...
